Gizmo Animation was invited by Warner Bros. Games to come up with a trailer for the upcoming Harry Potter: Magic Awakened mobile game. Gizmo was kind enough to ask me to helm it.
I wrote and directed this Modular Trailer that features all the aspects of the game the client wanted to highlight: flying, Quidditch, friendship, learning spells, spell cards, iconic IP characters, monsters and magic battles. I came up with as many ideas (module) as I could think of then tried and find ways to combine them into a continuous flow. The Trailer works as a whole unit and each module is then used as an individual spot for socials.
I think I almost graduated as an HP scholar by the end. Big props to the production team, with special mentions to the Lighting Department as well as to the great modeling and shading artists. Thank you to all the wonderful animators who took part in this project.
